Really you have 2 choices on how to add extra flights into FS9,
1/ to Use the UT extra Traffic function, using this method all you have to do is place a flightplans.txt and aircraft.txt containing only the extraflightplans you wish to include in the UT compile. If at a later stage you wish to add to those plans then the new plans are added to the flightplans.txt that you have used previously in Extra Traffic and UT is recompiles again to include them. If you remove the flightplans.txt and aircraft.txt files from the extra traffic folder then the flight plans will not be included in the next compile you carry out using UT. There is no need to de-compile using this method.
2/ By creating a new .bgl file by using Traffic Tools. FS9 can support multiple traffic.bgl files. You still have to produce a flightplans.txt, aircraft.txt and airports.txt that are named something along the lines of flightplans_new.txt, aircraft_new.txt and airports_new.txt, TTools will then produce a new traffic.bgl file called traffic_new.bgl which will run alongside your UT produced .bgl file.

For those who would like to try it out here is the Beta.
http://www.flywestwind.com/Uploads/BETA%20TEST/WWAAITRF(Beta).zip
There are still some issues in Denver that needs fixing.
1. If you have the Denver WWAL Terminal or the Denver Maintenance Center
then disable those as this file will reinstall
2. Unzip this file to your FS9 directory (Make sure unzip to subfolders
is activated.)
3. Activate your addon scenery folder in your scenery setup
Requirement so far are:
2+ Ghz machine
128MB DX8 or latter video card
512 MB ram recommended
WestWind AI traffic occupies 70% and below so if you have a machine less
capable than the requirements above then try settings less than 70%.
There is over 820 flights!
KLAX, KDEN, KORD and KJFK have huge amounts of traffic.
This comes with AFCAD2 WWA airports for most of the HUBs
I have gone to all of our US HUBS and most everything looks great. Let
me know of issues at outlying airports
This has been a collaborative effort between Kyle and myself.
PAI aircraft will be installed for the 744, 752, 763, 764, A330, CRJ200.
You will need to download the DC3, 777-300, ERJ, B190, MD80, Baron 58
and 737-400 to see all of the WestWind traffic. The TTools source files
are installed to the FS9 root directory for thoes who would like to get
in on the development.
